Sometimes we may feel our energy drained, or a little down in the dumps for no reason. We might over-consume on coffee or food to energise ourselves. But I’ve found some fabulous ways that can help boost our batteries and help us feel healthy and ready to tackle any problem to relax this summer.

1. Doctor V Drinks

Unlike regular sugar filled and chemical energy drinks, these magical energy drinks have been developed by specialist doctors and naturopaths after Sydney businesswoman and entrepreneur Kimberley Holden identified a gap in the market for a natural energy drink. These delicious drinks are a personal favourite of mine and have a unique blend of wild Siberian herbs & berries used for centuries in Russia, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. All their formulations contain Siberian pine needles, green tea extract and wild handpicked berries. They have no fat and no preservatives, but do contain herbs used by Vikings, Cossacks and Cosmonauts to help boost our body!

2. Yoga

No matter what age you are and what ability, yoga is for absolutely everyone. As soon as you roll out that yoga matt you can discover the physical and mental rewards that people have been using for thousands of years. You don’t need to be fearful of yoga terminology, stereotypes, or strange complicated poses. But simply know the power it has to strengthen your mind and calm your mind.

4. Exercise or have a dance

Exercise can actually enhance our feel good hormones in the body. I think combined with a good song to dance to is the perfect combination to get the blood pumping and elevate the spirits. So why not play your favourite song, and dance like nobody is watching. You have nothing to lose and all the energy to gain!

5. Eat the right foods

You are what you eat! So if your eating foods that are low nutrients you will have little energy. So why not choose foods that are super nutrient are good for your body with high energy. Foods like bananas, nuts, oatmeal, leafy greens, oatmeal, fruit and vegetables will sustain you throughout the day and keep you feeling fresh and energised.
