Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Loose Powder isn’t just known for its blurring, brightening, crease-banishing abilities. Excellent as they may be! It has another claim to fame: its scent. In fact, the fragrance became so talked about online that it eventually developed a fan base of its own. Some people loved it. Some people debated it. Everyone seemed to have an opinion on it. So, now, in a move that feels both completely unexpected and somehow inevitable, Huda Beauty has decided to bottle the experience.
Meet Huda Beauty Easy Bake Intense Eau De Parfum, the brand’s first permanent fragrance and arguably its boldest beauty launch yet.
The Makeup-To-Perfume Pipeline Is Officially Here
Beauty brands have spent years extending their bestselling products into every category imaginable. Lipsticks become blushes. Serums become masks. Cult cleansers suddenly have matching moisturisers.
But transforming a makeup icon into a perfume? That’s a slightly different proposition.
Then again, Huda Kattan has never been particularly interested in doing things the conventional way.
Since launching Huda Beauty in 2013 with a collection of false lashes, the entrepreneur has built one of the most influential beauty brands in the world. What began as a beauty blog evolved into a billion-dollar empire, fuelled by viral products, social media savvy and an uncanny ability to know exactly what beauty lovers want before they do.
And lately, the appetite for fragrance has never been stronger.
Perfume has become beauty’s hottest category, with consumers increasingly looking for scents that feel like an extension of their personality rather than an afterthought. So perhaps it makes perfect sense that Huda Beauty’s next chapter would involve fragrance.
Not just any fragrance, though. A fragrance inspired by one of its most iconic products.
What Does Easy Bake Intense Actually Smell Like?
If you’re expecting a powdery makeup-bag scent, think again. Huda Beauty Easy Bake Intense Perfume takes a much more decadent route.
The fragrance opens with juicy wild cherry, one of the most sought-after notes currently dominating the perfume world. Cherry fragrances have undergone a sophisticated glow-up in recent years, moving away from sugary sweetness and into darker, richer territory.
From there, the scent becomes softer and more indulgent. White florals add a creamy elegance, while cinnamon bark introduces warmth and spice. Caramel milk follows, giving the fragrance a deliciously gourmand quality that feels comforting without becoming overly dessert-like.
Finally, everything settles into a rich vanilla bourbon base that lingers on the skin long after the initial spritz.
The result is a floral gourmand fragrance that feels warm, addictive and unapologetically glamorous. In other words, exactly what you’d expect from Huda Beauty.
More Than 100 Versions Later…
Creating a successful fragrance is rarely as simple as mixing a few beautiful notes together.
According to the brand, Easy Bake Intense underwent more than 100 iterations before reaching its final form. Developed alongside renowned perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani, the goal wasn’t simply to create a nice-smelling perfume. It was to create a scent that felt distinctly Huda.
“I wanted Easy Bake Fragrance to feel rich, sexy and intense. Because when it’s truly you, it’s never too much,” says Huda Kattan.
That philosophy runs through the entire fragrance. Nothing about it feels shy or understated. It is designed to be noticed, remembered and complimented.
And judging by the brand’s consumer testing, it appears to be delivering. Huda Beauty reports that 99 per cent of participants agreed the fragrance left a noticeable scent trail throughout the day, while 92 per cent said they received compliments while wearing it.
Whether or not you’re the type to trust fragrance statistics, one thing is clear: this is not a perfume designed to quietly disappear after lunch.
The Rise Of Beauty’s New Comfort Scent
Perhaps the most interesting thing about Huda Beauty Easy Bake Intense Perfume is that it taps into a broader fragrance trend currently reshaping the industry.
After years of minimalist, barely-there scents dominating perfume counters, consumers are gravitating back towards richer, more indulgent fragrances. Vanilla is having a major moment. Gourmands are evolving beyond cupcake sweetness. Cherry notes are everywhere.
People don’t just want their perfume to smell nice anymore. They want it to feel delicious.
Easy Bake Intense delivers exactly that energy.
It’s warm without feeling heavy, sweet without becoming childish, and glamorous without trying too hard. The kind of fragrance that feels equally at home at brunch, date night or during a random Tuesday afternoon when you simply want to smell expensive.
