What Do Women And Girls Really Really Want?

Twenty years after Spice Girls’ smash hit Wannabe, artists from India, Nigeria, South Africa, UK and the U.S. have joined forces to tell world leaders what girls and women ‘really really want’.

The band’s debut song has been remade by charity Project Everyone and encourages girls to share a photo of themselves holding up a sign with what they  really want for the future, using the hashtag #WhatIReallyReallyWant.

These messages will then be presented to the UN General Assembly in September.

The campaign has already been endorsed by original band member Victoria Beckham.

“I think this film is a wonderful idea,” she said in a statement. “How fabulous it is that after 20 years, the legacy of the Spice Girls’ ‘Girl Power’ is being used to encourage and empower a whole new generation.”
