Ben’s work has been published internationally in Vogue, Elle and Harper’s BAZAAR and now he brings his effervescent vibe to the world of Mavi.
Mavi’s new threads are modelled by talented Australian photographer and model Natalie Roser, Pia Miller’s love interest Tyson Mullane and rising model Valerija Erokhina.
Natalie and Tyson took a few minutes out from the shoot to talk about their experience of working together.
Ben Watts was the photographer for the Mavi AW16 Campaign shoot, known for his creativity & personality. What was it like shooting with Ben & the team on the day?
Natalie: Ben was amazing! He is such a talented photographer. We had a great team on the day and the whole shoot was high energy and fast paced. I loved how Ben embraced the rain and used the bad weather to create some amazingly vibrant pictures!
Tyson: It was exciting to work with Ben. He has incredible character and passion for his craft. A true artist to say the least. He makes you feel strong when opening pickle jars.
What is your opinion of the campaign overall?
Natalie: I love it! All the colours look great and I love the way Mavi jeans fit. It’s definitely a fun campaign!
Tyson: It’s vibrant and full of energy.
You looked great in Mavi. What do you like about their denim?
Natalie: I loooove the fit (especially the skinny jean) and the feel of the fabric. All the denim felt amazing to wear and the range is so versatile, which is always a plus.
Tyson: They’re an everyday jean for everyone for every occasion.
