Deer Valley Resort Expands Terrain for 2024/25

Nestled in the majestic Utah mountains, Deer Valley Resort is set to make a grand transformation with its Expanded Excellence initiative. This ambitious project will introduce a new East Village, three state-of-the-art chairlifts, and more beginner-friendly runs. By the 2025/26 season, Deer Valley will double its skiable terrain, becoming one of North America’s largest ski destinations.

Winter Park Resort Extends Ski Train Service

Winter Park Resort in Colorado has announced an expansion of its beloved ski train service for the upcoming season. With an impressive 69 roundtrips—29 more than the previous year—the train will now offer additional destinations and a five-day-a-week service starting in January. Tickets start at a mere $19 USD, providing a scenic and eco-friendly travel alternative for skiers and adventurers.

Arapahoe Basin Joins Alterra Mountain Company

In a landmark acquisition, Alterra Mountain Company welcomes the legendary Arapahoe Basin, affectionately known as “A-Basin,” into its family. Famous for its challenging terrain and tight-knit community, A-Basin will maintain its dedication to exceptional skiing and sustainability under Alterra’s guidance.
