Say What? Sex And The City 3? SJP Gives Away Clues On Instagram

In true Carrie Bradshaw style with an addiction to expensive footwear, the style icon posted this fun vignette on Instagram with the caption “I dreamed this. X, Sj”. The star is pictured in a very Carrie-esque-style black dress running alongside a devastatingly fashionable row of heels down her character’s New York street.

In the last month or so, the glamorous mum-of-three has posted a pic of herself sitting on Carrie’s iconic New York street stoop and engaged in some rather ‘telling’ social media exchanges with co-star Kristin David (aka Charlotte York).

Davis tweeted that she missed her co-stars and SJP, quick to respond tweeted back: “Me too you! Heard the news? X.”

Davis replied: “Yyyeessssss … But I’m afraid to get TOO excited yet — You let me know when we can celebrate. XO.”

Although in 2013 the series author Candace Bushnell had deemed SJP as a little too long in the tooth to climb into Carrie’s heels to be involved in a third SATC film, saying, “But I think they were stuck doing what the audience wanted. Realistically, a middle-aged woman who was married without children would be much more focused on her career and less focused on this Mr. Big: ‘Does he love me?’ … ‘Does he still not love me?’ I mean, I think it was coming to the end of what they could do with the character.”

As we all know though, social media is a powerful tool to ramp up excitement, let cats out of bags and create a buzz! Here’s hoping the third instalment isn’t too far away – WE MISS YOU TOO!
