Photographer Chris Cuffaro Brings George Michael Back To Life With His Greatest Hits

If you are among the army of George Michael fans, then make sure you visit the Chris Cuffaro photographic exhibition and witness firsthand his captivating portraits of the late great UK rock star.

The amazing pictures were taken during the singer’s Faith Tour as well as the Faith video shoot and are a credit to the artistry of the renowned American photographer Chris Cuffaro, famed for capturing some of the world’s greates music legends.

This is his first Australian exhibition and is part of his international Greatest Hits Tour – ‘George Michael’, launching 16 January through 28 January 2018, to be presented by Black Eye Gallery, Darlinghurst, Sydney.

The exhibit brings the iconic musician back to life as Cuffaro reignites the candid rawness and emotional insight of George Michael commencing in 1987 for the FAITH video and continuing throughout the international 1988 FAITH Tour, as the retrospective showcases forty-five official publicity; behind-the-scenes; live shows; promotional; and never-before-seen images of the late star. It will be an exhibition for George Michael fans to marvel in, and sceptics to immerse themselves in.

The international traveling Greatest Hits: George Michael exhibition will be open to the public daily from January 16th to January 28th 2018, with all works available for purchase.

Black Eye Gallery is located at 3/138 Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst.

Cuffaro is considered to be one of the most highly regarded entertainment photographers in the world and is responsible for a dynamic, authentic and intricate oeuvre, unraveling the intrinsic complexity and appreciation of some of the greatest musicians, actors, athletes and personalities of our time including Iggy Pop, Michael Hutchence, Janes Addiction, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Elvis Costello, No Doubt, Fiona Apple, Henry Rollins, Soundgarden to name a few. His camera has captured the joie de vivre – and sometimes suffering – of his subjects both on- and offstage.
