Looking for a zingy, zesty drink that feels like a cocktail but keeps things clean this Dry July? Meet your new favourite no-booze pour. This Kiwi Ginger Nojito recipe is a playful, punchy twist on the classic mojito – swapping out the rum for refreshing ginger fizz and dialling up the flavour with fresh kiwi and Bickford’s No Added Sugar Lime cordial. It’s bright, bold and made to be sipped under the sun (or while pretending you’re on holiday).

With its juicy muddled fruit, cooling mint and effervescent blend of ginger ale and soda water, it’s the kind of drink that makes you forget it’s alcohol-free. For those who like a little extra tang, a splash of apple cider vinegar adds an unexpected kick that plays beautifully with the sweetness of the kiwi and the zing of lime.

Whether you’re impressing friends or just upgrading your solo sipping, this is a no-fuss mocktail with major summer energy. Garnish it to the nines or keep it simple – the result is the same: a fresh, fizzy glass of feel-good.

INGREDIENTS

1 kiwi fruit

10 mint leaves

30ml Bickford’s No Added Sugar Lime cordial

1/2 cup ginger ale

1/2 cup soda water

Optional: ¼ – ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Optional garnish: kiwi slices, mint and/or lime

INSTRUCTIONS

Peel the kiwi, then slice three thin rounds crosswise and set them aside for garnish.

Chop the remaining kiwi into small pieces and add them to your glass. Muddle well until the juices are released and the pieces are small enough to sip through a straw.

Clap the mint together in your hands to release the oils, then add them to the glass along with the lime cordial. Lightly press the mint 5–6 times with a muddler.

Fill the glass with ice, then pour in the ginger ale and soda water. If desired, add a splash of apple cider vinegar for a tangy bite. Stir gently to combine.

Garnish with the reserved kiwi slices, a wedge of lime, and a sprig of mint. Serve and enjoy!
