After Coldplay and Bruno Mars warmed up the massive crowd during the half-time break, Beyonce stole the show in her homage to Michael Jackson, a custom DSQUARED2 bandleader creation.
If there was a baby bump there, she was hiding it well!
Speculation was growing that the Grammy winner would use the occasion to announce her second pregnancy.
She’d revealed her first by rubbing her stomach after a 2011 MTV Award show.
But Beyonce was all business at Levi’s Stadium dazzling the huge crowd with a stunning rendition of her new single Formation, before singing along with Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
DSQUARED2 designers, Dean and Dan Caten, said before the show: “We love Beyonce and wanted to create something where she resembles a warrior leading her female posse who fall into formation and take Super Bowl 50 at half-time!”
In true Queen Bey form, she accessorized with major bling, all by Lorraine Schwartz, as she rocked 18 karat gold champagne nude diamond football shaped marquise studs that weighed a total of 31 carats.
A 30-carat, cushion shape chunky bezel ring and a 26 carat champagne, pear-shaded diamond knocker bezel ring completed her look, as she also sported two champagne diamond wrap-around rings on each pinky.
Bey is no stranger to the Super Bowl halftime stage. In fact, she totally shut it down when she performed during the 2013 Super Bowl — and her latest look was even better than ever before, according to the reaction on social media.
