There’s a new addition to Melbourne Museum’s attractions and you shouldn’t miss it for the world! Mandela My Life: The Official Exhibition was officially opened to the public before going on a 5-year world-wide tour from 2019.
This exhibition features the extraordinary personal life of Nelson Mandela–South Africa’s first black leader. It was produced by iEC Exhibitions, Museums Victoria, and TEG Live with full collaboration with The Nelson Mandela Foundation of South Africa.
Mandela My Life: The Official Exhibition will feature the most comprehensive collection of original documents, artefacts, personal items, and artworks to be shown outside the premises of South Africa.

There are ten sets of galleries highlighting different important events of Mandela’s life–from his early childhood to his marriages, to his underground operations, to his imprisonment, freedom, and incredible achievements. These include personal objects like a custom-made shirt and a signed boxing glove from Muhammad Ali.
