As a self-confessed shopaholic, this year I am in bargain hunting heaven with the number of sales in the lead up to Christmas.

I truly do not think there has ever been so many sales, discounts, cash back offers and events to bag a bargain so close to the Christmas Holiday celebrations.

Traditionally, we shopaholics and savvy bargain hunters start our Christmas shopping early before the prices rise for the Christmas season.  So far this year the bargains are plentiful and the price rises have not been evident.  Retail is changing!

I usually start shopping for pantry items for the holiday season early for two reasons.  Firstly to ensure I get the items I want before they sell out. Things like dried fruit and nuts for cooking and pavlova cases, ordering hams and snacks for entertaining.  I also usually buy my celebration wines before the Melbourne Cup Carnival to avoid paying full retail however this year has been different.

November has been a festival of sales.  We discussed Singles Day in China and Black Friday in the US in “how to bag a brand bargain” and now the Aussies are getting into the act.

Australia’s home grown Click Frenzy is set for its biggest sale ever.

Tonight, Tuesday 15 November Click Frenzy kicks off.  It is called the Sale that Stops the Nation and no wonder as it boasts some of Australia’s most beloved brands.  For Click Frenzy subscribers some truly jaw dropping pricing is available.

A sneak peak to what’s on offer (for subscribers) at 99% off brand new items with free shipping in Australia included:

  • Apple iPad Mini 2 – $2
  • Apple TV 4th Generation – $2
  • PlayStation 4 – $3
  • Microsoft Xbox One S – $4
  • Samsung 32” LCD LED UltraHD SmartTV – $4
  • Samsung 55” LCD LED UltraHD SmartTV – $10
  • $100 Westfield Gift Vouchers – $1

There is no catch!  However be warned that stocks are limited. This mega sale is across many categories including sports, travel, toys, electrical, beauty, food and liquor, and more.

Click Frenzy runs from 7pm AEDT Tuesday, 15 November until 7pm AEDT Wednesday, 18 November at www.clickfrenzy.com.au.

Happy shopper

Aussies can have their sales and also bank the cash!

Cashrewards is a wonderful way to shop at all your favourite brands and also get cash back. It is so easy too. It is a simple Click, Shop, Earn. I have even added them to my web browser so I know when I am getting cashback on my online shopping.

See I wasn’t kidding – Shop more, Save more!

As previously mentioned, this time of year I head to Dan Murphy when they have aggressive price drops on my favourite wine.  Now, not only do I get the discounted pricing but I also receive a cashback in my cashrewards account because I shopped my favourite stores taking extra advantage of Cashrewards program.  They even have cashback from one of my favourite haunts – eBay!

So now you can shop the Aussie sales and bank some cash and all just before Christmas to ensure you have a very Savvy Christmas and your bank account, not your credit card, remains full figured!
