We show you how to get the floaty, soft looks in just a few easy steps below!
Look 1:
“For the first look, we prepped the hair with Pure Abundance Style- Prep, styled with Phomollient and finished with Witch Hazel Hair Spray to create a nomadic feel with a wind-swept pony and side fringe.”
STEP 1: Section hair and prep by spraying Pure Abundance Style-Prep to the roots to create a base for styling. Draw a side part, starting at the edge of the eyebrow and running slightly at an angle across the head.
STEP 2: Next apply Phomollient Styling Foam to hair, ensuring there is good coverage.
STEP 3: Dry hair and use medium tongs through the mid-lengths.
STEP 4: Liberally spray Witch Hazel Hair Spray. Tilt hair back and sway hair side-to-side to infuse air and movement to the look.
STEP 5: Sweep hair across the forehead to create a side-fringe and pin. Pull hair back over the ears and secure into a low pony.
STEP 6: Wrap hair around hair-tie and spray with Control Force Air Spray to secure. Finish look with a spritz of Air Control Hair Spray to achieve strength and hold, without weighing hair down.
PRO-TIP: When drying, create texture without frizz by focusing on the root area with controlled blasts. As hair dries twist it to retain movement.
Look 2:
The second look takes ‘exploring’ in a new direction and emulates an idyllic summer escape. “For this look, we wanted something smooth and fresh, something you would wear on a holiday in the sun”, says Robertson-Kirkwood. “Once again we created soft texture however blowdried hair using Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight to keep it sleek and flyaways at bay.”
STEP 1: Section hair and prep by spraying Pure Abundance Style-Prep to the roots to create a base for styling.
STEP 2: Next apply Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight to hair and blowdry in a downwards action to reduce frizz with a large roller brush.
STEP 3: Once dry, section hair and starting a couple of inches below the crown, begin to backcomb to create subtle height
STEP 4: Next create a sharp side part. Sweep hair across head to create a side fringe. Keep fringe flat on the hairline and pin behind ear.
STEP 5: Finish look with a spritz of Air Control Hair Spray to achieve strength and hold, without weighing hair down.
