A nourishing breakfast alternative, full of fibre to promote bowl health, cinnamon to boost the metabolism and pecans for magnesium and omega 6 for brain function. Bee Pollen can be purchased from most health food stores, or feel free to use honey as an alternative.

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup organic rolled oats
1 cup of preferred organic milk (cows, almond, soy etc.)
2tsp ground cinnamon
1 generous pinch of shredded organic coconut
Approx. 6 pecans
1TBS bee pollen (or organic honey)

METHOD
Combine the oats, milk and cinnamon in a pot over a low heat, slowly stirring. Continue to stir as the oats bubble and absorb the milk and soften. You may wish to add some water or more milk if you like them less “gluggy”.
Place in a bowl and top with another sprinkle of cinnamon, coconut, chopped pecans and bee pollen/honey.
