What is your favourite place to exercise outdoors?

“I love running through the Botanical Gardens and there are some great runs along Rose Bay. I also love doing the Bay Run in Drummoyne and running through Lane Cove National Park for a change of scenery.”

What is your favourite activity to do in Sydney on your day off?

“I love to walk, and Sydney is a great city for walkers. There are some really gorgeous ones around the harbour foreshore with some top views. Bondi to Bronte is a favourite of mine as there are some stunning views and top cafes. There are also some really beautiful inlets that you wouldn’t necessarily see from the road, especially around Mosman and Taronga Zoo. If I had a guest visiting Sydney I would take them for a leisurely walk around Watson’s Bay.”

Favourite place to dine in Sydney for a cheat meal?

“There are so many great options to eat out in Sydney. I’m a really foodie, so when I’m not preparing something at home some of my favourite places to eat out at are within the Golden Triangle area at Pott’s Point – The Apollo, Monopole and Fratelli Paradiso. Some of my other favourites are Chiswick for their whole ‘Paddock to Plate’ philosophy.”

Best things about Sydney?

“Definitely the weather! We’re so lucky to live in a city that has so many activates that we can do outdoors from the beach, hiking, kayaking – you name it! And to do it in such a beautiful location is a plus!”

Favourite running track in Sydney?

“Sydney is such a beautiful city and there are SO many spots to choose from. I always love running across the Harbour Bridge and can’t wait to do this at the Blackmore’s Sydney Running Festival. One of my favourite tracks would have to be through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park where the Hawkesbury River meets the sea. There are some outstanding water views and I even go for a swim sometimes to cool off afterwards. I find when I’m running a cross country path I lose track of time as I’m more focused on the movement. Sometimes when I’m running at a steady state I get the odd ‘are we there yet’ pop into my head.”
