While we wait patiently for the official photos, might we take a moment to share the gossip that has come out from the event we’ve fondly come to know as the Kimye wedding? (that’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding, for those who fortunately aren’t as familiar with these two as I am).
First, the fuzzy pictures of the dress. It’s Givenchy, designed by Riccardo Tisci, which is not surprising as he has been a champion of Kim Kardashian, dressing her for both the 2013 and 2014 Met Balls.
Then there’s the news that Kim’s brother, Rob Kardashian, flew home to LA before the wedding after Kim made a comment about his recent weight gain. According to x17online, Kim wanted her family to be dressed in Valentino couture for lunch with Valentino, and he wasn’t going to fit into anything. He told her he was sickened by her and Kanye’s display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it “superficial bulls***”
Clearly the rest of the sisters are on board.
Beyonce and Jay Z didn’t make it. Apparently they were tossing up whether to go or not but didn’t want to be on the TV special for E! and Kim’s show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, so they went on a family holiday to the Hamptons.
They had a photo booth at the wedding, as is all the rage these days. It’s where the photo, top, has come from, and these below. Looks like they had fun! Now we just have to hold out for the official photos. Or the TV show. Whichever comes first.
