Quick And Easy Recipe For An Apple Pie Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 green apple, peeled & diced 
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 2 tsp Natvia
  • 1/4 cup wholemeal self-raising flour 
  • ¼ tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 1/4 cup almond milk, unsweetened 
  • 1 tbsp reduced-fat Greek natural yoghurt 

Method 

  1. Place the apple in a microwave-safe mug and microwave until soft, for about a minute. 
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and combine with the apple. Add a little more milk for a smooth batter if required.
  3. Return to the microwave for 2 minutes or until cooked through. 
  4. Tip onto a plate and top with yoghurt and some extra cinnamon to serve.
