A little Gooree Park history: 

Lloyd Foyster first developed Gooree Park as a horse stud in the 1960s and built a world class racecourse on the historic property. In 1979 Filipino businessman Eduardo Cojuangco Jnr purchased the property from the well known racehorse owner and breeder. Under Mr Cojuangco’s ongoing stewardship and passion, the property proudly remains a private enterprise.

Today Gooree Park oversees the breeding & pre-training of the next generation of thoroughbred champions, with dedicated breeding, spelling and training facilities; not to mention our own race track. Gooree Park’s pastoral interests also include the highly sought after Wagyu cattle breed, sheep & cropping enterprises. Gooree also oversees the management of 400 hectares under vine, the production of premium wines as well as onsite Cellar Door operations, events and tours.
