Katherine Sabbath’s Toasted Sourdough with Nutella Strawberries, Passionfruit & Mint

While Cake Queen Katherine Sabbath is known for her elaborate towering constructions, she also believes less can be more. Which is why she loves this simple recipe of warm, sourdough Nutella Toast topped with the classic creamy hazelnut spread and garnished with juicy strawberries, tangy passionfruit, and a sprinkle of fresh mint

INGREDIENTS (1 Serving)

  1. 1 slice sourdough toast
  2. 15g (1 Tbsp) Nutella
  3. 3–4 strawberries, sliced
  4. Pulp from 1 fresh passionfruit
  5. Mint leaves, to garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a small bowl, combine the strawberries, passionfruit pulp, and mint.

2. Toast the sourdough and transfer to a plate.

3. Spread Nutella over the warm toast, then top with the fruit mixture. Garnish with mint and serve immediately.

Tip: For the perfect chocolate-to-bread ratio, we suggest making Katherine Sabbath’s Nutella Toast with 15g of Nutella per person – the perfect amount to enjoy its rich, delicious flavour!
