While the classic chocolate spread and quirky queen of cakes individually need little introduction, this year they’ve come together to create something truly special in this show-stopping recipe for a festive (and delicious) Puff Pastry Christmas Tree with Nutella!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 sheet of Pampas puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp milk
- 60g Nutella for decorating
- Seasonal fruit for decorating, like raspberries, mango, rockmelon, blueberries
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 190°C
- Lay out one sheet of Pampas puff pastry on a strip of baking paper
- Cut a Christmas Tree shape into the sheet of puff pastry
- Cut short branches into the tree, using the trunk as a guide. Twist the branches away from you
- Mix the egg yolk and milk together and brush the tree with the mixture
- Bake the pastry for 12-15 minutes, let it cool and decorate with Nutella using a piping bag
- For an extra festive look, decorate your Puff Pastry Christmas Tree with Nutella with with bright coloured, seasonal fruit like raspberries, mango ,blueberries, and rockmelon.
