The Coolest Wine and Whisky Cocktail Since the New York Sour

As an ode to the Spanish sherry casks its heritage spirit is aged in, The Glendronach Distillery has teamed up with Gildas restaurant to craft the Glendronach x Gildas Cocktail (aka The Ronnie). Recreate it at home with the recipe below. INGREDIENTS

  • 20ml The Glendronach 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
  • 20ml Campari
  • 25ml Cava (a traditional Spanish sparkling wine)
  • 15ml grapefruit juice
  • 15ml sugar syrup
  • Orange peel, to garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients, except for the cava, to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared coupe and top with cava.
  4. Garnish your Glendronach x Gildas cocktail with a twist of orange peel
