Beat the heat as summer approaches with this curated collection of white wine cocktails.

Think Spritzers, Mojitos and classics with a twist. Refreshing, easy and just plain pretty, these recipes are the perfect way to keep your cool when entertaining this summer.

Pomegranate & Lime Spritzer – Recipe from Nutmeg Nanny

Ingredients:

Soda water, white wine, pomegranate seeds and lime.

To Make:

Add ice to a glass, add wine and top with soda water. Add pomegranate seeds and lime wedges and drink!

White Wine Mojito – Recipe from Turnip The Oven

Ingredients:

Lime wedges, mint leaves, agave, chilled dry white wine, chilled soda water and ice.

To Make:

Combine the lime, mint and agave in a glass and muddle gently with a spoon. Add the wine, soda and ice and stir.

The Saint Cocktail – Recipe from Saveur by Café Moto New York

Ingredients:

For the syrup: 1 cup of sugar, 1 piece of ginger, peeled and thinly sliced. For the Cocktail: Dry white wine, ginger syrup, white vermouth, fresh lemon juice, soda water, orange bitters, basil leaves, lemon peel and mint to garnish.

 To Make:

Ginger Syrup: Combine sugar, ginger and 1 cup of water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer until all the sugar is dissolved. Chill overnight and then strain to remove the solids. Cocktail: Combine wine, ginger syrup, vermouth and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously and strain into stemless wine glasses. Top with soda and 3 dashes of bitters and garnish with basil, lemon and mint.

Chardonnay Iced Tea- Recipe from Beautiful Booze by Natalie Migliarini

Ingredients:

Chardonnay, gin, chamomile tea, lime juice, honey, ice, lime twist to garnish.

To Make:

Brew a cup of chamomile tea for 45 seconds to extract maximum flavour and allow to cool. Combine a shot of the cooled tea with some honey in a cocktail shaker and stir to thin the honey. Add a shot of gin and fresh lime juice, pour over ice and top with the Chardonnay. Garnish with the twist of lime.
