Reception: Quay Restaurant (Green Room), Overseas Passenger Terminal, The Rocks, NSW.

Guest list: “30 close family and friends.”

Dress: “I wore the Karen Willis Holmes lace and silk ivory ‘Heidi’ gown. I loved the classic style, lace detailing on the bodice and sweetheart neckline.

Rings: “My husband had these made when he was in Toronto, Canada.”

Jewellery: “I wore jewellery kindly given to me by my mother-in-law.”

Flowers: “The wonderful Maria Lush designed and created my bridal bouquet, the bridal party flowers and church arrangements. They looked absolutely amazing on the day and Maria’s attention to detail was remarkable.”

Bridal Party: “We had four bridesmaids and two groomsmen.”

The ‘Maids dresses: “My bridesmaids wore Amsale navy blue chiffon, one shoulder dresses.”

Stationery: “Trouli Graphics designed our classic themed invitations and stationary.”

Theme: “The wonderful late Anthony Del Col helped us create a classic, elegant and intimate wedding that would be fun and relaxing for everyone.”

Cake: “Planet Cake created our wedding cake. It was a three tier, white chocolate mud cake!”

The Menu

Entrée:(a choice of)

  • Salad of pink turnips and breakfast radishes, pickled beetroot, goat’s curd, olive, chard, pine resin, balsamico.
  • Italian prosciutto, green figs, roasted almonds, baby rocket, spring onions

Main:(a choice of)

  • Roasted pig belly, cauliflower cream, hazelnuts, prunes
  • Roasted fillet of grain fed beef, chestnut cream, truffle custard, walnuts, quinoa, farro

Dessert:(a choice of)

  • Fresh raspberries and violets, vanilla mousse, meringues, white chocolate almonds
  • Quay’s seven texture Valrhona chocolate cake
  • Cheese platter

Entertainment: “We had a DJ (Sydney Wedding DJ).”

Transport: “A Mercedes stretch limousine.”

Last thanks: “We could not have done it without the love, help and support from all our family and friends. Also words cannot express how grateful we are to the late Anthony Del Col who helped us every step of the way to create such a love filled, fun, beautiful and relaxing day for everyone involved.”
