Get ready for the year’s “most potent” Full Moon – April’s Pink Moon in Libra, peaking on Thursday.
This lunation won’t just bring emotional truths to the surface – it could trigger tension in relationships, radical breakthroughs, and stress that seeps into daily life.
This Full Moon forces you to confront what’s really happening in your life, in your relationships, and within yourself. It is extraordinary in both intensity and influence, with a rare planetary alignment directly opposing the Moon, making its energy particularly powerful and far-reaching.
The phenomenon occurs at the Earth Point, the spot opposite the Sun where subconscious and emotional energies physically manifest. Think of it as the moment your emotions, thoughts, and inner patterns become undeniable in the real world. You might feel it in your body before you can even put it into words.
Adding to the intensity, the Sun, Saturn, and Neptune are clustered in Aries, forming a dramatic opposition to the Libra Moon. If you could look up and see these planets, they would appear almost on top of each other – their energies merging into one powerful, complex force.
The energy asks some very real questions: how do you stay true to yourself while being fair and present in your relationships?
The Aries-Libra axis lies at the heart of this Full Moon. Libra thrives on harmony and compromise, while Aries prioritises independence. The Moon is fundamentally feminine energy – it governs our emotions, our intuition and our inner cycles – so women tend to feel its pull more viscerally, and a Full Moon this powerful is no exception.
If you’re not careful, you risk losing yourself or what you truly want in a relationship.
Even small frustrations could become magnified. The pendulum swings, and stress can appear in everyday things – a dropped basket of washing, minor health issues – simply because your mind is full of emotional pressure.
This Full Moon can bring radical realisations or confrontations in relationships. Saturn demands honesty about what is solid and real, while Neptune dissolves illusions you may have been clinging to.
Because of its potency, the effects of this Full Moon could last for up to four weeks, giving you time to process emotional truths before making major decisions.
I see this energy affecting everyone, but Aries and Libra will be particularly impacted. Cardinal signs Cancer and Capricorn, as well as air signs Gemini and Aquarius, will also feel heightened tension and clarity.
The Earth Point Full Moon is about the physical manifestation of emotional truths. It’s intense, it’s embodied, and it demands clarity. The inner world hits the outer world, and if you’re not present, stress can show up in everything from your health to daily tasks.
Slow down, notice your emotions, and engage consciously with your relationships.
April’s Full Moon is also called the “Pink Moon”, named after the pink phlox flowers that bloom in North America this time of year, though it will not appear pink in the sky.
The Full Moon reaches its peak on Thursday, April 2 at 1.11pm AEDT, but best viewing for the fully illuminated moon will be on the evenings of April 1 and April 2.

Meanwhile, the Universe is asking some seriously big questions about who you are, what you actually want and whether the life you’ve built is truly working for you. Something that’s been quietly unsustainable is ready to change. This isn’t about tearing things down – it’s about getting real. Your identity, appearance and your relationships are all up for an honest review. You deserve a life that supports you, in a balanced and fulfilling way.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20): Now the moonlight shines a light on your health, daily routines and work habits and what’s been quietly draining you behind the scenes. Something you’ve been pushing through, ignoring or hoping would sort itself now wants your attention. Meanwhile the Universe is stirring deeper questions about rest, solitude and what your mind and body need. The gap between how you’re spending your days and what your soul genuinely requires is becoming harder to ignore. This isn’t about overhauling everything at once – it’s about one honest admission – where are you running on empty? Your body has been sending signals. Now is the time to listen.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20): Your love life, creativity and what genuinely brings you joy, are being spotlighted. Have you been showing up as your true self or a carefully edited version? Meanwhile there’s a loaded tension around your friendships and social world, making you question which connections are truly aligned with who you’re becoming. Some relationships may be quietly draining the very joy and creative spark this Full Moon is trying to ignite. A romance could reach a turning point, or a realisation about where your passion and energy really belong. This is your cosmic hint to stop performing happiness for an audience and start feeling it. Your joy is not a luxury – it’s your compass. Follow it.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22): There’s tension between your home life and career coming to an absolute peak – what’s been simmering quietly in the background is ready to boil over. Something about your career, a work relationship or your public identity may suddenly look very different than it did before. Also, your home, family and emotional foundations are calling for attention you’ve been too busy to give. The weight of trying to be everything in every direction is real and this Full Moon is asking you to get honest about the cost. You can’t pour from an empty home base. A family conversation, a living situation or a deep need for more emotional safety may come to a head. Tend to your roots first.
Leo (July 23 to August 22): This Full Moon is activating your communication zone so expect honest conversations, long-overdue truths and ideas that have been circling, finally landing somewhere real. Something you’ve been thinking but not saying is ready to be spoken. The clarity that follows could shift things big time. Also, there’s energy stirring around your beliefs, your larger vision and the direction you thought you were heading and some of it needs updating. A conversation with someone close could be the turning point. The Universe is essentially asking whether what you’re saying out loud actually matches what you know to be true on the inside. So, say what you mean!
Virgo (August 23 to September 22): Your money and self-worth zone are being spotlight and you’re being asked some very direct questions about what you believe you deserve – financially and emotionally. A money matter, work situation or shared financial arrangement could come to a head, showing where the balance is genuinely off. Meanwhile deep transformation energy is stirring beneath the surface, bringing up old patterns around power, value and what you’ve been settling for without fully realising it. The gap between what you give and what you receive is becoming impossible to ignore. This isn’t just about your bank account – it’s about how you price yourself in every area of life. This Full Moon says enough is enough.
Libra (September 23 to October 22): This Full Moon in your sign, makes it one of the most personally significant lunations of the year and you’re going to feel it. The spotlight is on you, your identity and the way you show up in the world. Meanwhile your closest relationships are holding up a mirror and what’s being reflected may be confronting. A partner, a significant collaborator or someone you’re deeply entangled with is showing you something important about yourself right now – whether you’re ready to see it or not. The Universe is also asking where you’ve been abandoning your own needs to keep the peace. Very Libra problem, yes – but this time the cost of ignoring it is too high. You matter in your own story. Not just as the person holding everyone else together.
Scorpio (October 23 to November 21): Everything that lives beneath the surface of your mind is being illuminated – your subconscious, your hidden emotional world, the things you don’t talk about but still carry. What’s been quietly festering underneath the functional surface of your everyday life is ready to come up and this time it’s not taking no for an answer. Meanwhile the tension around your daily work, routines and physical health is real. Something about the daily grind is no longer sustainable and your body knows it before your mind does. This isn’t a comfortable Full Moon, but it is an honest one. The healing available right now comes through surrender, not control. Rest is not laziness. Solitude is not weakness. Going inward now is genuinely the most powerful thing you can do.
Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21): Friendships, your social world and long-term visions and who genuinely belongs in your future is becoming crystal clear. Some connections may have quietly run their course and this Full Moon makes it impossible to keep pedalling. Meanwhile your creative life, your joy and your authentic self-expression are stirring with real energy. There’s some tension between who you are in your social world versus who you are when nobody’s watching. Have you been dimming your spark to fit in somewhere that was never quite right? A friendship or group dynamic could reach a turning point now. The people who celebrate the real you are your people. Let this Full Moon show you clearly who that actually is.
Capricorn (December 22nd to January 19): Career, public reputation and life direction come into sharp focus now and what success actually costs you in your personal life, is no longer easy to overlook. Something about your career, your relationships with authority figures or the direction you’ve been working toward may reach a turning point. Meanwhile your home, family and emotional foundations are asking for more attention, despite your ambitions. The weight of holding it all together publicly while privately running on empty is real. This Full Moon is asking you to get honest about it. Your reputation is not your identity – your foundation is. A conversation at home, an emotional truth you’ve been too busy to face – give it the attention it deserves now.
Aquarius (January 20th to February 18): This Full Moon is activating your beliefs, your bigger vision and the meaning you’ve been making of your life. However, some of what you thought you were certain about is ready for an honest update. A conversation, a piece of news or a realisation landing this week could genuinely shift your viewpoint in ways you weren’t expecting. Meanwhile, the way you think, communicate and move through your everyday world is also under review. You might find the gap between what you say and what you know to be true is actually widening. The Universe is essentially asking you to upgrade your thinking. The more honest the update, the more freedom it brings.
Pisces (February 19 to March 20): This Full Moon is shining its light directly into your most intimate relationships, shared finances and the psychological patterns. Where power, money and emotional vulnerability meet in your closest relationships is up for an honest reassessment. Meanwhile, your relationship with your own value and what you genuinely believe you’re worth is asking for attention. The gap between what you give and what you allow yourself to receive is real – financially, emotionally and energetically. A shared money situation or an intimate situation could reach a turning point soon. You are allowed to want what you want and need what you need. Start there and see what shifts.
