The biggest trend to look out for this Spring Summer season…

It’s all about using a product with the correct formula or colour, so you can just put it on and just look like a makeup artist just did your makeup, and not look like you’ve got any makeup on. It’s not a season of no makeup, you’re just not meant to look tired or washed out. You’re meant to look like you’ve been on vacation.

The look for Tibi…

The inspiration for the show was that Tibi wanted a girl that’s confident and pretty – those were the only words that I needed to hear because our season is all about confidence and empowerment, using products that make you look like you’re not wearing makeup. We all know it takes a lot of makeup to look like you’re not wearing makeup, but this is all about seeing a girl walk with healthy skin, and lots of good energy and happiness.

We’re using a lot of our new products…

Such as our new Retouching Pencil – it literally looks like you are just retouching the face,

We’re also bringing back our Nude Palette which is perfect for every single girl, no matter what colour your skin is. We also have a shade that looks like a nude eyelid which is really cool.

On the eyes…

We’ve used our new Eye Opening Mascara… the tagline is ‘OMG Wow” because we’ve never seen a mascara that makes lashes look darker, thicker, and so intense without clumping or flaking. You don’t even need eyeliner with it. One coat is enough, but three coats is ridiculous.

For this show, we’ve just used an Illuminating Pencil on the lid and the inner corner. You used to have to use a million products to get that look, so I created the pencil so it’s much easier to use.

We created a new lipstick…

It’s the first lipstick we’ve ever brought out in our Extra line, and it works just like a chameleon. It changes the colour of every girl’s lips, so it’s your own perfect lip tone. It’s pink, but with just enough intensity. It’s kind of like makeup for a ‘real girl’, which I fell in love with creating.

As for the cheeks…

In this show we’ve used a Retouching Powder as blush on the cheeks depending on each model’s skin tone, and then an illuminator on top of that.
