The best thing about being a host on Channel V…

Having creative control and being able to produce entertaining segments on TV. I get to research and learn so much about my favourite artists and then construct an interview that will bring out interesting and  never been told stories these pop stars may have. The aim is to always get the “exclusive” and connect with the artists in order to entertain my viewers. I get a kick out of that. I get to go to all the concerts we sponsor and see some incredible and intimidate love gigs that V create. Like the Florence & The Machine performance down on Sydney harbour- up close and personal.

The best thing that happened to me at work…

I’m lucky enough to interview a lot of talented people so hearing them perform live in an intimate environment makes my soul smile. Miguel charmed the pants off me and sat at my desk in my office which was pretty cool. Jessica Mauboy and I sang in an interview once and that was a bucket list of mine ticket off.

The coolest celeb I’ve met…

Most recently Cara Delevingne because she said she didn’t want the interview to end. I love making a connection with people. Chelsea Handler is my idol so meeting her was massive for me as well. I love all my local Aussie artists and bands that come in for promo like The Flight Facility Boys Jimmy, Hugo and also Sam Smith is probably the most interesting and humble human being alive. He always remembers our chats and is very giving.

Being on camera…

I get more nervous public speaking then talking to thousands of people live on air. When I first started I was an anxious mess but I’ve been in performing arts since I was 4 so I can naturally turn it on when the cameras roll.

My top tips for taking a selfie…

Don’t take yourself too seriously. It’s a selfish act taking a selfie, so at least crack a smile. Think about your background and be creative. Don’t stand next to a brick wall or a garage door. That it my biggest pet hate wen I see photos with terrible uninspired back drops. Don’t edit (Facetune) your face it’s really obvious and imperfections are perfection.

My favourite Instagram filter…

I like cooler tones so I de-saturate my photos and bring up the contrast. You never want an image to look like there’s an obvious filter that’s been added to the photo.

My best beauty tips for looking amazing on camera…

I love a bit of contouring to bring out the cheek bones. I also love the cat eyeliner look to bring out my eyes. I like my hair pretty natural but textured. I actually hate blow drys or looking too overdone. Less is more.

The secret to my bold brows…

It’s funny because in year 9 I would wax them so thin all throughout high school until my modelling agent told me to grow them back to natural and maybe I’d get work. I use M.A.C. Brow Set (a clear eyebrow gel) to keep them brushed up cause they are long. I love the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil to fill in a few gaps as well.
