My initial introduction to the cocoa-butter-based face range from Palmer’s is a facial. Got to love that. Anything that involves lying down and having someone else cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise my face is on a winning streak.

Palmer’s is a household name, famous for its ethically sourced cocoa butter formula which is the basis for its renowned body products that are also chock full of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and E, flavonoids and polyphenol, which helps fight ageing free radicals and also has a mega moisturising hit.

Step one in my mini facial is a double cleanse with the Creamy Cleanser & Makeup Remover, $9.99.

Step 2 is the Micro Fine Exfoliating Facial Scrub, $9.99, with finely crushed walnut shells that combine with cocoa butter to gently exfoliate.

Step 3 in my mini facial is the Moisturising Day Cream, $14.99, with SPF15.

We love a two-in-one product that moisturises and protects. The therapist massages the cream in, in an upward motion for best results.

The finishing touch: the essential Illuminating Eye Serum that hydrates the delicate skin around my eyes.
