The legendary Royal Ascot Races have officially begun and each year men and ladies don their best suits and frocks for the regal event. This year is no exception but the show stopper so far has to be the Duchess of Cambridge, who is no stranger to being idiolised and praised for her style. Many pay avid attention worldwide to see what Kate is wearing at all her public appearances and this year she made her royal debut at one of the best dressed events in England.
The Duchess of Cambridge arrived to enjoy her first Royal Ascot outing with her husband Prince William and many other Royals, all there to support their royal horses and a day out at the historic racing grounds.
Kate joined in with other stylish racegoers as she arrived in a stunning white lace Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with a woven white and cream Jane Taylor hat. She kept her accessories simple with a small woven clutch, pearl drop earrings and nude heels.
The Queen recently celebrated her 90th birthday but her age doesn’t stop her from attending the royal races, enjoying herself and looking fun and elegant in a pink ensemble. The Queen is an avid fan of racing and often the colour of her hat is the buzz word amongst bookies in the lead up to the event. It was guessed that this year the Queen would wear a blue hat but instead she wore a pastel pink outfit designed by Stewart Parvin and her hat was by Angela Kelly.
Australian born Princess Mary of Denmark was a surprise attendee but also looked gorgeous in a coral dress with a cream and gold large rose flower fascinator.
