Skin Control Just Dropped Four New Products … And Your Skin Is About to Have a Very Good Day and Night

Somewhere between the Chemist Warehouse aisle and a Big W trolley, Aussie beauty brand Skin Control has been quietly building a reputation for viral beauty products that don’t require a second mortgage. Now it’s back with four new launches, and they neatly cover your entire 24 hours: two for the morning-ish, two for while you’re horizontal and drooling.

Here’s the lineup.

The day shift: K-beauty tech for $22

Let’s start with the bit beauty nerds will want to hear. The first pair brings one of K-beauty’s most advanced skin care technologies to the everyday shelf: encapsulation.

The idea is that concentrated capsules suspended in the formula burst on application, protecting the active ingredients until the moment you use them, for maximum freshness and performance. Capsule tech has become increasingly popular in Korean skincare, but it’s usually found in premium products. Skin Control is making it far more accessible, with both launches retailing for $22 each.

Bubble Cream Plumping Moisturiser ($22) is a fresh take on the everyday moisturiser. A lightweight hydra-gel base holds suspended cream capsules infused with Vitamin C, Collagen and Peptides. It works to visibly improve dullness, restore volume and strengthen the skin barrier.

Dewy Drops Bursting Capsule Serum ($22) has bursting capsules floating in a lightweight serum, designed to deeply hydrate, refine texture, strengthen the barrier and even tone for a luminous, dewy glow. The formula includes:

  • a 9% Moisture-Boosting Complex (Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin and Betaine)
  • a 2% Glow Enhancing Trio (Niacinamide, Licorice and Green Tea)
  • a 3% Barrier Strength Blend (Peptides, Ceramides and Oat Extract)

Together, they’re pitched as a simple two-step routine that combines hydration, barrier support and glow-boosting ingredients in lightweight, sensorial formulas.

The night shift: a bedtime duo

Then there’s the after-dark pair. The Sweet Dreams Overnight Plumping Mask and Marshmallow Kisses Overnight Lip Mask are built for the final moments of your evening routine. They get to work while you sleep, helping to replenish moisture and support the skin barrier.

The common thread is Marshmallow Root, an antioxidant-rich ingredient known for its hydrating, softening and calming properties. Yes, the names are a lot. Yes, it works.

Sweet Dreams Overnight Plumping Mask ($20 RRP) is a lightweight water-jelly that melts into skin. It contains a concentrated Collagen + Ceramide Complex, which helps improve the look of elasticity and soften the appearance of fine lines, plus Hyaluronic Acid for long-lasting hydration. The aim is a bouncier, smoother, more radiant complexion by morning.

Marshmallow Kisses Overnight Lip Mask ($13 RRP) is the buttery one. Marshmallow Root Extract, Coconut Oil and Shea Butter team up to restore moisture and protect against dryness, so you wake up with lips that are smooth, hydrated and pillowy-soft, and visibly plumper.

Co-founder Michael Porter says the idea was to create “those final steps in your evening routine that you actually look forward to using.” He adds that they’re “easy to use and deliver real results, so while you’re getting your eight hours, they’re busy giving your skin and lips extra plump and hydration.”
