You’ve got the dress, you’ve got the groom but when it comes to planning a wedding, there is one thing many brides leave off their to-do list: bridal beauty and a prep plan. Even though it doesn’t rank nearly as important as finding the perfect dress, flowers, church or reception the truth is this is the one task that will help a bride to look her best on her special day.

So what advice do I have to offer any bride-to-bes? First and foremost a bride should definitely start preparing her skin at least 6-12 months before the big day. I personally recommend getting a program written that outlines the timeframe for these procedures and the costs involved.

A simple yet incredibly effective beauty program looks a bit like this…

Plan your bridal beauty:

12 MONTHS PRIOR

Monthly microdermabrasions to exfoliate the skin and prevent breakouts.

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, painless procedure that deeply exfoliates the skin and removes the dull, dead skin cells from the surface to reveal younger skin. It is effective at reducing fine lines, sun damage, age spots, pigmentation and acne scars as it stimulates the production of new skin cells and collagen networking in the deeper layers of the skin. In a nutshell it’s the quickest way to achieving the blissful wedding glow.

6 MONTHS PRIOR

Add IPL photo-rejuvenation treatments after each monthly micro to help promote collagen in the skin and to reduce redness and broken capillaries.

IPL (Intense-Pulsed Light) Photo-rejuvenation is a new revolution in cosmetic skin rejuvenation. This treatment is designed to successfully improve surface skin irregularities such as sun damage, age spots, acne, broken capillaries, fine lines and pigmentation.  This procedure is quick and easy, has virtually no downtime, minimal side effects and produces long-lasting results. Most importantly it helps give your skin an amazing glow.

3 MONTHS PRIOR

Fractional Laser is fantastic at reducing pigmentation and pores.

This safe, non-surgical and non-invasive skin treatment is a gentle, revolutionary treatment that fights the natural effects aging has on skin. It helps improve tone and texture, reduces the appearance of pores and gives skin a radiant, youthful glow – perfect for creating a more even and clear skin canvas for your special day.

2 WEEKS BEFORE

Anti-wrinkle injections to smooth out and soften any fine lines.

This popular procedure is designed to relax muscles that cause facial expression. So once the muscle is relaxed the overlying wrinkles will soften and reduce, effectively wiping away any physical signs of pre-wedding stress and anxiety.

Add to this a simple exercise program in conjunction to good eating habits and you will be well on your way to looking and feeling your physical best on your wedding day!
