Raised in the south of France before a booming career in the fashion industry, Ines has an impressive repertoire as Karl Lagerfeld’s muse and Chanel’s star model of the 1980s. After her time as a top international model, she launched her own brand, Ines de la Fressange Paris.
Ines re-launched her brand in 2013, and in the following year she and UNIQLO collaborated for the first time on UNIQLO’s LifeWear spring summer range.
After such a success, this year both parties have partnered again for an incredible range of womenswear, which will be available at UNIQLO stores worldwide.
In 1998, Ines was named to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame, so if you’ve ever dreamed of having the wardrobe of a French fashion icon, it’s your lucky day.
The new line includes great outerwear pieces: tailored jackets, denim jackets, linen jackets, a trench coat and blazer. And superb separates, featuring smart cotton pants, shorts and skirts, long sleeved shirts and blouses, basics, knitwear, dresses and accessories.
The collection is made with a very neutral palette, with safari beiges, deep navy, khaki green, black and white. These classic tones make the pieces easy to mix and match, and add a touch of minimalist sophistication.
Ines’ style is very refined. It’s clean, sharp and classy and this is absolutely reflected in her collaboration with UNIQLO. The pieces are understated, they’re not ostentatious – that was never Ines’ style. They are chic, they’re the wardrobe staples you’ll have for life.
