Here’s the perfect edit of an Autumn spin on bohemian style, so you can keep your look and keep warm.
When it comes to dresses, the easiest way to accommodate cooler temperatures is with a longer hemline, also keep a look out for long skirts of similar styles, which you can pair with knitwear. (Tip: find a jumper that is slightly cropped, so it just meets the waistline of the skirt to save layering issues, or a jumper with slit sides, so it hangs loosely over the top of the skirt).
Out with the sandals and in with the boots! The soft suede and camel colour has a great bohemian vibe, and the wrap-around trend that works well with sandals looks just as fantastic on boots! These boots in particular are mid calf – a popular length for the upcoming season.
The embroidery, billowy sleeves and lace inserts on this blouse work fantastically, and the cream colour makes it incredibly versatile. Keep the main colour of your blouse fairly neutral so you can mix and match with all sorts of jewellery, belts, bags and hats!
If you’ve got a simple dress that you love, and want to add a touch of bohemia then belt it! Woven brown belts look great. Wear it with your skirts and jeans too.
If you’re looking for a bohemian style jacket then suede or faux suede is your best bet. The soft texture is a great match with flowy styles, and this deep plum complements the camel/cream/turquoise/rusty bohemian colour palette.
Thomas Sabo have just launched their heavenly new Dreamcatcher range which completes the bohemian look perfectly. Aqua and turquoise are the staple colours of the style, have fun with jewellery, mix and match, layer it up, we’re talking free-spirit bohemia here!
