Since her realty TV “Chelsea’ days, Millie has turned her focus towards a career in the eclectic London fashion scene launching her new book ‘Made’ at an exclusive London party alongside husband, celebrity rapper/songwriter Professor Green.  The event was attended by some of London’s elite including friends of the couple, former Miss Australia and model Erin McNaught and her UK husband, fellow rapper and musician Example.

Millie is hugely influential online and has broken the one million barrier on Instagram, proving to be an important voice in fashion and fitness. Her own immensely popular blog and website are also destinations for hundreds of thousands of fashion-craving fans.

A genuine sweetie, Millie’s great-great grandfather invented toffee as we now know it and her great grandfather invented Quality Street! And, after reading our interview with Millie, we’re sure you’ll have a sweet tooth for this young woman too!

Is this your first trip to Australia? What are you hoping to do/see outside of the Spring Racing Carnival?

It’s my third trip but my first time to Melbourne, I’m hoping to relax.. go and see the botanical gardens, enjoy some shopping and I’ve heard the food is really good!

What fashion trends will you be sporting in the Emirates Marquee in the Birdcage this year?

I haven’t actually decided on my outfits yet! I’m definitely going to be wearing Australian designers! I love that the days have different colour themes.

Emirates is sporting a ‘Brit’ theme this year and as a stylish English filly yourself what kind of English- themed vibe will you be bringing this year (aside from your lovely accent and eclectic London fashion sense!)

A Stephen Jones hat! I’m thrilled to be wearing one of his creations.

What are the essentials in your handbag on a race day?

A powder compact in case it’s really warm, blister plasters.. lipstick.

Tell us a little about “Made” which has just launched?

It’s a fun and relaxed lifestyle guide full of beauty tips, work outs, recipes and style advice.

Tell us about your health and fitness routine?

Working out has become something I actually enjoy and crave. I like to do a cardio session every week like spinning or boxing, a Pilates class to stretch and 2-3 weights based sessions.

Being a fashionista, we would love to know your favourite designers, both international and Australian?

Australian I love: Zimmerman, Sass and bide, Alex Perry, Camilla and Marc, One Teaspoon, Arnhem Clothing.

British designers: Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, Burberry, Issa, Temperley, McQueen

How would you describe your personal style?

It’s all dependant on my mood.

Who is your style icon?

Olivia Palermo.

What was your last purchase?

A reformation bodysuit.

What are the key pieces every woman/man should own?

A really good pair of jeans.

What are the four things you’re lusting after this season?

Valentino’s entire collection Stuart Weitzman’s extra high thigh high boots A Shrimps faux fur coat This backless mini dress from my collection that isn’t out yet.. It’s perfect for Christmas parties!

What is your favourite place in the world?

Ibiza.

Tell us your best travel skincare trick?

To cleanse my skin on the plane then use a hydrating spritz followed by a hydrating face mask I leave it on for the whole flight. Booze on board is a no no. I also recommend sleeping loads on the plane and I am excited about how comfortable and spacious the beds will be on the Emirates A380 I will be flying on.

What is the perfume you keep coming back?

Estée Lauder modern muse.

How would you best describe your food philosophy?

Everything in moderation.

What is your biggest indulgence?

Really smelly cheese!
