Balmain x H&M: Gigi & Kendall Rock the Look

The three superstars appear alongside male models Hao Yun, Xiang and Dudley O’Shaughnessy, and will be plastered on billboards and print campaigns worldwide.

Kendall Jenner may only be 19, but she has rocked the catwalks and campaigns recently, garnering herself a spot on Forbes World’s Highest-Paid Models 2015 list, earning an estimated USD $4 million. The young KK also has an estimated 58.5 million fans across her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, appealing to a younger, digitally savvy crowd – perfect for both Balmain and H&M.

Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, says the crew were a logical choice. “When you love the Balmain world, you love the models that are part of it too,” explains Olivier. “Kendall, Gigi and Jourdan are my friends, and they are the perfect choice to star in the Balmain x H&M campaign.”

In fashion-forward Balmain style, the campaign is set in a futuristic urban subway system. Each model leads their own crew, reflecting the different themes of the Balmain x H&M collection. And together, the images represent the diversity, energy and attitude of Balmain x H&M.

The collection was designed by Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing and photographed by Mario Sorrenti.

Balmain is the latest brand to collaborate with H&M for its designer collaborations. The Balmain x H&M collection includes womenswear, menswear and accessories, and will be available at selected H&M stores worldwide from November 5.
