Luke says he launched the brand after becoming dismayed over the high prices being charged for mediocre quality. “I felt that many high-street labels were over-priced for what they were offering,” Luke explains. “So in 2010, when I visited my brother in Peru, my eyes were really opened to how great and affordable fabrics can really be, done right. I was introduced to Peruvian Pima cotton and Grana begun! Other brands mark-up their clothing 5-8X, whereas we only mark up 2X. We can do this as we are an e-commerce business with less overheads, cutting those costs to bring disruptive prices to our customers.”
