A few cornrows on the smaller side of your part is a great way to tame tresses especially when there are gail-force winds outside. Take inspiration from Fendi’s Resort 2016 look and give it a go – leading hairstylist Anthony Nader shows us how…
What you’ll need: hair mousse, hair-dryer, fine comb, some hair clips, elastic band
Step 1 – On damp hair apply a tennis ball size of your medium hold foam from roots to ends and squeeze product in thoroughly to absorb too.
Step 2 – Blast hair 80% dry with your hairdryer (to cut down the drying time) then place in your side part and section the other side panel you want braided clip away for the time being.
Step 3 – Attach your diffuser on the end of the hairdryer scrunch up your hair into your palms all over, till dry as this will enhance the natural movement more now and not make you look like you’ve been caught in a whirl wind.
Step 4 – Unclip the other side now and start braiding the top track out of three, down to the crown area and secure the tail with a snag free elastic.
Step 5 – Start on your second track down keeping your braid smooth by using your comb secure that one and do the very same on your third and final braid.
